MY NAME IS LIEW SEI WAI AND I COME FROM PERAK.I'M TAKING COURSE BUILDING TECHNOLOGY  FROM SCHOOL OF HOUSING,BUILDING AND PLANNING.BEFORE THIS, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRAW,SKETCHES AND DESIGN SOMETHING.MY FRIEND ALWAYS LAUGH AT MY DRAWING,I FELT REALLY SHAME .AFTER I TAKE THIS RUS104,I HAVE LEARN MANY THING. THIS INCLUDE DRAWING SKILL, COMMUNICATION SKILL AND COOPERATION SKILL.IN STAGE OF DRAWING SKILL,I LEARN HATCHING, CROSS HATCHING, WATER COLOUR SKILL AND SO ON.I ALSO LEARN HOW TO DESIGN SOMETHING AND I KNOW THE MOST IMPORTANT IN DESIGN SOMETHING IS HOW TOO CHOOSE THE MATERIAL.I LEARN HOW TO CHOOSE THE MATERIAL TO DESIGN MY STRUCTURE.IN STAGE OF COMMUNICATION SKILL, I LEARN HOW TO COMMUNICATION WITH MY FRIENDS TO CARRY OUT A PROJECT.BEFORE THIS ,I IS NOT SO GOOD ON COMMUNICATION .I ALSO LEARN HOW TO COOPERATION WITH MY TEAM TO CARRY OUT A PROJECT ESPECIALLY IN PROJECT 6 AS HAPPEN SOME MISCONCEPTION AROUND OUR GROUP MEMBER(BUT FINALLY THIS PROJECT AND THE PROBLEM OF MISCONCEPTION SOLVE SUCCESSFULLY ).NOW,I HAVE MANY FRIENDS. BUT NOTHING IS PERFECT ,ANYTHING HAVE THEIR DRAWBACK.I ALSO FELL VERY TIRED AND VERY BUSY.MANY PROJECT WAS WAITING ME TO DO AND I HAVE NOT TIME TO SLEEP, BATH , EAT AND REST.I ALSO NO TIME TO STUDY BECAUSE I HAVE TO DO MY PROJECT.I ALWAYSDO MY PROJECT FORM MORNING UNTIL NEXT MORNING.I ALSO FELL VERY STRESS BECAUSE I THINK MY PROJECT IS NOT PERFECT AND I SEE MY FRIEND'WORK WAS BETTER THAN ME .THIS WILL MAKE ME FELL STRESS AND SHAME.BUT I WILL HAVE POSITIVE THINKING TO FUTURE MY EDUCATION FOR MY FUTURE.FINALLY,I WISH MY FRIENDS AND ME SUCCESSFULLY  MAKE THEIR DREAM COME TRUE.

This is a class that teach us how to use water colour to sketcher a beautiful drawing. 

All student listen the talk by lecturer with patiently.

technique drawing with water colour . 

This is my final result after I learn from the lecture. I think it is not too bad, haha.

Can u guess what is this? Let me suggest this is a L-shape chair . I make it with my friend Shafiq and Faiz. We use recycle thing like bottle, old newspaper and wood from tree. This is our final result and I think it was not too bad.

This is project 4,the L-shape chair . I do it with my partner Shafiq and Faiz in studio. We do it with hardworking at the morning until the second morning. This is our final result and I have learn many thing from this project such as communication skill, cooperation skill and how to construction a chair. Our chair's name is NATURAL TASTE. 

This day , lecturer give a talk about how to drawing a house using two point perspective and how to colour it using water colour. I have learn many thing and this is my final result from this talk and I think it is beautiful.(>.<)

PROJECT 1 B: PERSONAL LOGO

This is my logo and this logo look like a snail play on the water beside a tree. This logo include three alphabet that are L, S and W. L for LIEW ,S for SEI and Y for WAI. That is my name LIEW SEI WAI.I learn many thing from this project such as I know how to design my logo ,what different between me and the other person and so on.

 

PROJECT 1 A : STEWARDSHIP

I  also learn many thing from this project. I know about my self clearly,  what is my ambition andwhat I want to do for the better built environment. Other than that, I also learn about the technique sketching such as cross hatching, hatching and so on. This is my self.

I AM A BUILDING TECHNOLOGY AND MY HANDWRITTING WAS SUCK. This is the first lesson for the RUS104 and we learn about the architect's writing and I think my handwriting was not too bad.

PROJECT 2A:NATURAL STRUCTURE

This is my natural structure .I choose this tree because it look healthy. This tree is near the hostel RESTU. I learn many thing from this project like technique hatching, cross- hatching and so on.The real photo is picture B.

 

PROJECT 2 B :MAN-MADE STRUCTURE

This is my man -made structure . I choose this bus stop because it give many useful for the HBP's student.I learn the colouring technique using pencil colour like hatching and so on. The real photo was picture A.

This is a final result from a talk by lecture. I learn how to use colour water drawing and so on.

PROJECT 3 A:OBJECT CREATION :A FREE- FORM SCULPTURE

This is my sculpture . You know what is this? This is a head-my mother's head. I make this because I want to show how many love I want to give for my mother. I learn about how to design and how to make joint in the sculpture.

I use isometric and one point perspective drawing to draw my L-shape chair. At first, I don't use axonometric and perspective drawing. But , i learn with hardworking and this is my final result.

PROJECT 5A : NEIGHBOURHOOD ELEMENTS : EXISTING CONDITION

I have go to site visit with my friends who are do the same site with me . I was clearly know that what facilities there have. I choose SIARA81,SG.ARA, PENANG as my site project. That site have TNB, taman rekreasi  and so on . I also know about how to sketching a plan site using the scale.

PROJECT 5B : NEIGHBOURHOOD ELEMENT :PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT

I have go to site visit and I know what have to add to this site . I suggest some idea such as recycle bin, seesaw , bus stop and so on.

This is a final result from a talk by a lecturer. I learn about how to draw a house using technique two perspective and how to colour it using the water colour. I think it is not too bad. 

 

STUDIOWORKS

This is my LOGO DESIGN. In my logo include 3 alphabetic that are L,S and Y.L for Liew, S for Sei and Y for wai. That is my name- LIEW SEI WAI. My logo also look like a snail playing on the water beside a tree. This is my project 1b- my personal logo. I have learn about how to design our logo and found the characteristic and specialise from my self.

 

 

 

This is my project 1a-stewardship.I learn many from this project. I know how to sketch, i know the technique hatching,  cross hatching and so on. I don't know how to sketch before taking this course. But now, i know how to design and sketch. I want to thank for the lecturer that have teach me. I also know about my self after finish this project as this project include my personal background, five year later and what have to do for the built environment. I know about my self what i want to do and what is my ambition. This will make me felt my future was clearly  and i will study diligently to make my dream come true.

 

 

This is my natural structure-project 2a.I also learn many from this project include how to sketch a tree, information about the structure and so on. I choose this tree because this tree look  very green and healthy. 

This is my project 2b:man- made structure. I choose this bus stop as my man-made structure because this bus stop was near the school of housing, building and planning and give many convenient for the student HBP. I also learn about how to sketch using colour and why this bus stop have to build in here.    

PROJECT 3A:OBJECT CREATION : A FREE -FORM SCULPTURE.

Can any body guess what thing that I was design. HAHA ,that is a head- my mother head. I design it is to show how much I love my mother. I use steel as a material and a flower to make my sculpture. I learn many from this sculpture such as design, construct and how can make a sculpture stand.

PROJECT 3B:COMFORTABLE CHAIR

This chair I make with my partner SHAFIQ AND FITRI.I learn many thing from them such as idea , communication skill, cooperation and so on. This chair's name is NATURAL TASTE. Our  idea's is from Vietnam, Malay and Chinese. It was a beautiful chair.

PROJECT 4: presentation drawing

This is 3D drawing that are perspective <I use one point perspective drawing>and axonometric projection <I use isometric drawing> .I can do this project very well  because the lecturer given a good talk and I have interest to do this.

PROJECT 4: PRESENTATION DRAWING< 2D DRAWING >

I learn many from this project. I know how to PLAN, ELEVATION, CROSS SECTION AND DETAIL. I also learn about the other thing like communication skill. I was really first time draw this 2D DRAWING but I believe that I can do that and my dream really come true.

                              I have do the site visit and know what are the proposed needed improve. I was given some idea such as kindergarden, surau , seesaw , basketball court and so on.

PROJECT 5 :SENSE OF PLACE: NEIGHBOURHOOD AND COMMUNITY

PROJECT 5A:NEIGHBOURHOOD ELEMENT : EXISTING CONDITION

I learn morn in this project. we go to site visit with my friends who was do the same site with me and we know what have there actually and we know the basic physical and   environment aspect such as wind direction , sun path and so on. We also know what are the facilities there have such as TNB, TAMAN REAKEASI AND SO ON.I also learn how to draw a layout plan according to the scale I choose.

 

 

PROJECT 6:MAKE A STAGE
 I LEARN MANY FROM THIS PROJECT SUCH AS HOW TO MAKE A REPORT, WHAT JOINT SUITABLE FOR OUR STAGE, HOW TO LOAD THE BEARING OF THE ROOF AND SO ON. BESIDE THAT,  I ALSO FELT HAPPY AND A BIT SAD WHEN DOING THIS PROJECT BECAUSE HAPPEN SOME MISCONCEPTION.BUT FINALLY,THIS STAGE WAS SUCCESSFUL BECOME A MODEL.OUR GROUP'S MEMBER ( THE AWESOME 6 ) WAS FELL EXTREMELY HAPPY.
